Due to prior confusion, we have updated our Frequent Shopper member system. Members of the Frequent Shopper Discount will receive a 10% discount on Kosinski Farms products, including Our Own baked goods, produce, vegetable plants, herbs, and annuals. This discount does not apply to already discounted items. The Frequent Shopper logo will be posted in store, indicating the items which it applies to. We invite current and new Frequent Shopper Members to pick up the new card, available at the Farm Stand in mid-April through October.

In order to follow our mission of sustainability, we have made several changes to our every day functions. We have begun substituting eco-friendly or paper containers for single-use plastics. We also encourage our customers to bring reusable bags. In the greenhouses, we have installed brand new corn-burning stoves to continue reducing our carbon footprint.
We accept SNAP and HIP benefits at our Farm Stand. Find out more here.
In order to continue our goal of being more eco-friendly, we recently installed brand new corn-burning furnaces in our greenhouses!
Since corn heating units are designed to burn under oxidizing conditions, the resulting smoke is nearly odorless and consists largely of carbon dioxide and steam. Unlike the combustion of ordinary fossil fuels, the carbon dioxide produced during corn burning does not add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.
Corn-burning furnaces burn hotter than typical wood or coal stoves due to the corn needing to have a very low moisture level in order to burn (less than 15%). This allows more heat to be generated with less fuel.
